| Profile: | Bad Boys Blue is a multinational dance-pop group formed in Cologne, Germany, in 1984 initially featuring American Andrew Thomas, British John McInerney, and Jamaican-born Trevor Taylor - the original lead singer. After Taylor left the group in 1989, he was replaced by Trevor Bannister; upon scoring a number 89 chart hit in 1993 with "Save Your Love," Bannister exited as well, and Bad Boys Blue continued as a duo until adding Mo Russel in 1995. His 1999 departure made way for Kevin McCoy. Kevin McCoy left in 2003, only to return in 2005, however John and Andrew parted ways, with John and Carlos Ferreira forming one incarnation of Bad Boys Blue, and Andrew and Kevin forming another. John and Carlos' version released a 2008 album, Heart and Soul, while Andrew and Kevin are said to be working on an album of their own. |
